investiere portfolio startup Qumram acquired by US software company Dynatrace

The Swiss fintech startup Qumram was acquired by the US software firm Dynatrace, which provides digital performance management to the world’s leading brands, including 72 of the Fortune 100. Qumram’s solution will be integrated into Dynatrace’s offering.

In early 2016, investiere participated in an oversubscribed financing round for Qumram, contributing CHF 660’000 and bringing 24 high-caliber investors on board. Since then, investiere continuously supported Qumram’s management team and made introductions to banks, multinationals and other potential clients.
“We invested in Qumram because we believed in the team and were convinced that they have a very compelling product addressing the digital transformation of compliance,” explains investiere co-founder Steffen Wagner. “Already at the time, they had an impressive client list and were considered pioneers in the regulatory technology space.” In the meantime, eight leading Swiss banks as well as more than 50 customers from across the US, UK and Europe rely on Qumram.
Qumram’s exit represents one of the strongest signs yet of the vibrancy of the Swiss fintech ecosystem. We at investiere congratulate Qumram and its shareholders on this great accomplishment.
